Baconized Burgers

By wrapping the burgers in bacon you will get a flavour boost in every bite.  In the recipe we use medium ground beef but if you prefer a leaner burger you can substitute with lean beef.

BACONIZED BURGERS

Ingredients

1.5 pounds medium ground beef

1 pound bacon

steak spice (optional)

Directions

1. Using the sectioned part of a Burger Master container, lay 2 pieces of bacon in each hex section.

2. Next, place a large scoop (I like to use an ice cream scooper to keep the portions consistent) of ground beef into the middle of the bacon.  Press down to spread the meat evenly.  If using steak spice, sprinkle it on top of the beef before folding the bacon on top.

3. Repeat step 2 until all of the sections are filled.

4. You can grill some of the burgers at this point or store in the fridge up to 24 hours.  If not using within 24 hours, store in the freezer.

Enjoy your bacon burger!
